We are excited to announce that the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) has certified Mehlman Barnes LLP as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). The WBENC is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States. WBENC partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its world class standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country.
The WBENC certification standard is the most relied upon certification of women-owned businesses, which is recognized by public, private, non-profit and government entities. WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
By including a WBE among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
